My name is Finlay. Back then, I don't know much about the Internet, Computing, complicated networking or privacy. You could say that I was a peasant who was ignorant about Internet! And then, I encounter these things when I attend my local college and I can tell that it give me a new passion for Cyber Security. Of course, not just Cyber security but also programming, networking, hardware and even GNU/Linux. I think GNU/Linux is the first field that make me "wake up to the reality" to replace Windows with Based GNU/Linux and well, I was (and still is) having way too much fun doing commands in my own Linux laptop! I also realise that this world have too many corrupted companies that don't care about their customers' rights and privacy, glad to sell their personal data to make more money and I found it out when I was in college, studying about GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). So I believe that everyone deserves to have small but much more decentralised place where nobody but themselves, threatens their own privacy. That doesn't mean we should only get free software but also, a open-source software that you need to buy will respect your privacy and not sell your personal data so that's my belief.
